Saving Adam

Welcome

Hello and welcome to our website. Our site is new, so you will continue to see changes to the content in the coming months. I want to provide a good life, not only for Adam Odyek (almost 3yrs old), but for his whole family and community. Through ChildFund International (used to be Christian Children's Fund) a little bit of money can go a long way. I wanted it to go much much farther which is why I am collecting extra money, sort of a grass roots effort, to help Adam and other Africans (my wife has a sponsored child in another country also named Hawa, together they are "Adam" and "Eve"). We welcome you to continue to check our site for new updates about our organization and the cause we are supporting.

Sponsoring Adam & Eve is a little taxing on my families personal finances but for us its worth it. I love the symbolism that these two children, through their names, offer. It is the hope of a better world starting with a new first man and the first woman. There's an age difference between them but we're not suggesting they're going to be a couple. Instead, this is about helping two children by the same names have a better life and make better decisions than the first Adam and Eve. My wife and I will not only be sponsoring them financially but we'll also be sponsoring them spiritually through letters and other gifts.

It's typical that many of us just do the bare minimum we can to feel like we're good people. The reality is that we're all very fortunate we did not grow up the way that these children have to grow up in Africa. We are blessed beyond measure and its hard to pay back even a tenth of what we've been given because we've been given so much more than money. Our whole environment is different. This is why I am not and cannot be satisfied with the amount of help I'm able to give to Adam & Hawa. I want us to band together to change their whole environment. This is possible. If so many people can come together and help get the first African American in the office of the US presidency, it should be an easy thing to change the lives of two African children so that their potential and possibilities are endless. Will you help?
